“Rally racer” of the oceans
Live the unique experience of sailing in a boat designed and built to participate in round the world races.
We present an intrepid experience for lovers of sailing, an adventure where you can discover oceanic sailing aboard one of the fastest sailboats in the world.
The Sailboat
The S1 is an IMOCA Open 60 class sailboat, built for for the Vendée Globe, the around the world alone, without stops and without technical help.
Is the world’s most intrepid monohulls conceived and optimized to navigate at extreme latitudes, it’s 18.29 metres long, 5.50 metres wide and has an 8 tonne capacity. It is constructed from carbon fibre, a strong and lightweight material that allows it to sail at high speeds. It can hold up to 10 sails.
Maximum rated capacity 16 peoples: 14 passengers and 2 crewmen. There are 8 adjustable bunks and 2 double cabins available.
The S1 combines the austerity of high-performance with the comfort and modernity of its facilities, specially transformed and adapted so that passengers live the experience in the most realistic way without sacrificing comfort.
It is usually located in the port of Barcelona but can be moved to the port desired by the client.
Experiences
Daysail: Sail for a few hours admiring the Barcelona coast and learning the basic techniques of sailing. Maximum 16 people.
Challenge: live the unique experience sailing in a team 48 hours Non Stop to complete the route Barcelona – Sóller (Mallorca), 100 nautical miles in the fasted time possible to beat the current record. Maximum 8 people.
Nautical Coaching: Sailing is an enriching experience that, practiced in a group, forces people to leave the comfort zone, demands teamwork, coordination, humility and perseverance. It brings out the best in everyone and helps people to improve themselves.
An expert coach together with the crew leads group experiences with the purpose of resolving conflicts, reinforcing bonds, creating interpersonal synergies and strengthening human values.
Events: The S1 with its more than 600m2 of sails surface, offers a great visual impact so it can also be used as a claim for brand promotion actions in an original and creative way.
